  If no one near you, or a nearby university hasn't ordered the tapes, you
  can get any of the Kermit distribution for their billion supported
  machines from Oklahoma State. It has an interactive mode I believe,
  but they allow anonymous uucp.

  The following will get the directories of the files they have:

uucp okstat!~uucp/kermit-e/aafiles.dir /usr/spool/uucppublic/kerm.dir.e

  The kermit-x designation stands for which distribution tape the stuff
  is on.

  And if any folks from okstate are listening, I'd like to thank them for
  providing that service. It's sure helped me while I was waiting for the
  post office to deliver tapes.
