After reading all the blurbs about/against Montgomery Grant, I thought
I would add my 2 pennies worth.  I have heard from a friend that
CBM yanked MG's dealership.  How 'bout it Commodore, any truth
to this?  If it is true, it seems that the buying public should
be made aware of this.  On a side note, a person in our club got
the royal-runaround when she dealt with MG.  I still do not know if
she ever got satisfaction, but the whole incident certainly soured
her on the Amiga.

We are lucky to have a local dealer who is VERY suportive of both
the Amiga and our club.  They attend the meetings, demo new stuff,
let us try new stuff before buying (hardware, etc), and give
discounts to club members.  With the proposed usage tax law now
being considered, finding a food local dealer may be an important
consideration.  If mail order dealers have to start playing tax collector
for the state you reside in, then the competitive price difference starts
to dwindle, and the small differential may not be worth the hassles, wait,
and sometimes downright dishonesty that is associated with mail order
houses.  Note I said SOME, there are some very good mail order companies
out there, but like anything else, a few bad ones ruin it for the rest.
