Message-ID: <961@mcrware.UUCP> Date: 23 Feb 89 18:56:48 GMT Organization: Microware Systems Corp., Des Moines, Ia. Lines: 18 I have been reading about the bugs found in PageStream 1.0 which was recently shipped. I know someone who has PageStream for the Atari ST and also said that the version 1.0 of it was very buggy and crashed within a few minutes all the time. He now has the update of 1.5 and it seems like a fairly stable program and one of the best publishing packages I have seen on a small computer. I currently use PageSetter at home which is a big letdown from the FrameMaker I use at work on a Sun 3/50. PageStream seems much closer to FrameMaker and even has many features which FrameMaker does not, like full rotation of any object. He also said the output is great even on a dot-matrix printer compared to the other packages out there. Has anyone with PageStream 1.0 contacted Soft-Logick about the upgrade to it and when it will be available. On the ST my fried said it took a couple of months to get it out, I wonder if the time frame will be the same for the Amiga version. If you know of anything, I am interested. Tim Harris
