The only thing that makes the ][+ so obsolete is thinking like his. I am a PROUD owner of an Apple ][+, as well as an Apple //e (yes, it is enhanced) and a //c. I do think that programs should be written to take full advantage of the current computer model's capabilities, but if it doesn't then there's no reason for not supporting older Apple models. Users of ][+'s (or even ]['s or "Black Apples" by Bell & Howell) are still APPLE USERS. Software should accomodate as many Apple users as is reasonable.
