The odd thing is that the new computers only boot a new hard drive from power up but not an old SH204. Performing a coldboot will then boot up an SH204. Both drives are using HDB to boot and are now using the latest version of AHDI that came with the Megafile30's. The 1040's have ROM version 1.02. Has anyone got any idea (esp. Atari) as to why these new ST's are being so choosy about their drives.
