Have you gone downstairs yet..?  The only use for the office is to obtain the
one object that's moveable in there.
 
Going downstairs will subject you to more of this game's illogical design..
 
Unfortunately, I won't be able to help much beyond the first trips in the
Time Machine.. the abysmal interface and the sadistic copyprotection made
me give up and sell the game at the last user group swap meet...
 
   ...and I felt bad about the poor shmuck who got stuck with it...
