the arrow of the mouse is in the upper left hand corner of my new 3b1.
it interferes with the first few lines of the screen. is there any way
to get it out of sight?

(side issue: i can't read unix-pc.general. is there any mailing list
to which i can subscribe, or is there an archive which i can get to by
ftp?)
