I don't need the memory resident driver, rather I need the next level up from that, something that can tell me how many mickeys the guy has moved, and what buttons are pressed. I am currently using a mouse interface library from MSC, but it has some problems, and there is no source code. I know it's just a few INTs, but what are they??? (Also, I am a fan of the old MSC 3 button optical mouse. It was smooth, svelte, and it let me use a consistent mouse technique on my Sun and on my PC. Also, I developed software that used all three buttons. Now the 3 button version is discontinued, and the current 2 button MSC mouse is inferior - stiff movement, stiff buttons, and only two buttons. What is the closest current product for someone who liked the old MSC 3 button optical mouse?) Kaare Christian kc@rna.rockefeller.edu
