It's a Panasonic Business Partner 286 and it had a 40Meg Fujitsu 3.5" hard drive (M222702). I tried to get the hard drive set up properly with it, but I was told that since that type of drive (#heads, #cyls, etc.) wasn't in the BIOS listing anywhere (AT-compatible), I couldn't use this drive to its fullest, if at all. I tried using SpeedStore to format (hi & lo) it so that I could at least use 33.4Meg of it, but it wouldn't boot and I can't get FORMAT.COM to format it. And when I try to copy something to the C: drive, things get scrambled. Am I barking up the wrong tree with this drive and computer? Of course, this drive type isn't listed in SpeedStore, either. And I tried to input this information manually with SpeedStore to no avail. How aggravating! I'll take e-mail or posts. Thanks. --------------------------------------- L.
