I'm interrested " in such a program in which I can design train track layouts with a " veriety of types of track, be they curved or streight or switch track " and so forth. Anyone know of other such products? For the Mac of course! " Public domain, shareware or otherwise. It doesn't have to support color " but I would like it to support printing of the layout. I got this program years ago. It's fun to play with, but the printing capability is missing. The scenery that goes under the track layout is a MacPaint I document, so you print from MacPaint. The track layout itself is two screens high. To print it, you save each half, then put them together in MacPaint. These are the instructions I got from the manufacterer, Fortnum Software. In terms of capability, it does have things like light control of track segments, switches, and crossings (overpasses). It's got curved and straight track segments; the primitives can be rotated to each of the 90 degree positions. It automatically picks up connectivity between track tiles no matter what orientation they have. I haven't checked to see if it runs on 6.0.2. It's also not color. -- "Have you ever wondered if taxation without representation was cheaper?" Julian "a tribble took it" Gomez julian@riacs.edu
