He said that he did save the work. He said that he was finished and was doing a Save As... with Fast Save turned off to save some disk space. What Word did was to delete his old copy, and try to re-save the file over again. This was not his fault, it was definitely wither Word's or MultiFinder's fault. -Ace swerling@caen.engin.umich.edu
