I have a 4 bit video card which I have been wanting to upgrade to 8 bits. However, if Apple is going to release a new video card in the summer that will have 32 bits/pixel then it is not worth my while to upgrade my old card unless Apple is going to make an upgrade path available. Does anybody (perhaps one of the folks at Apple) know whether the current video cards will be upgradeable to 32 bits/pixel or whether I'll have to trash the one I have currently? Thanks for answers.
