Excel just isn't prepared to update a forumula-in-progress.  Note that in this
state it disables DA items in the Apple menu, beeps when you click anywhere
that doesn't update the formula, etc.  It won't let you do anything that would
cover the formula.  So I would rephrase the problem statement thus:  "Another
problem with Excel happens when using Pyro!."
