I know of such a dictionary (they come along with the french version of
MS Word). BUT: I have tried to use a German dictionary with the english
version of Word (The german and english version number of MS WORD  were DIFFERENT)but Word failed to USE that dictionary. I've tried various ways of trying
to get WORD to use it: the only way it worked was to use the german
version of Word.
I do not know whether the same would be true with other languages (e.g.
French).
I would be interested in hearing of other experiences.
