Message-ID: <120@all41.csc.ti.com> Date: 21 Feb 89 17:48:52 GMT Organization: Computer Science Center, Texas Instruments Lines: 20 I need to know how to do two things: 1) Bring a regular color frame (from Data Translation's ColorCapture board) into HyperCard. 2) Since color may present a problem in number 1 and failing to find someone with an already canned XCMD (such as DISPICT), does anyone know how to get a high quality monochrome halftone image into HyperCard from a frame grabber system. The highest quality we've been able to obtain is to grab the frame in PhotoMac and export as 8 bit PICT file, then convert it to 8 bit TIFF using Digital Darkroom, then screen (halftone) the image in PageMaker, then via the clipboard insert into HyperCard. This is obviously too many steps, however, any straight-through method has met with inferior results (loss of a resolution and definition, specifically). Thanks, John Dennis DENNIS@HCVDL.VDL.TI.COM
