(Please.) Keywords: Beta testing, legal Message-ID: <44855@linus.UUCP> Date: 13 Feb 89 13:12:11 GMT Distribution: na Organization: SOON to be, The Orginization of Procrastinators Lines: 40 I have a very simple question to all you Mac Programmers who have actually written and published a program... I am now in the process of writting a program and will eventually want to beta test this. Now I know it is a good Idea to get the Beta testers to agree to a non-discloseur (spell check please...) form, but I don't know enough about law. ( I am going to school to be a programmer, not a Lawyer... Don't ya know... @-) I was just wondering if anyone has a leagle-like non-discloseur form that I could use. If anyone is interrested, the program will be used to keep a "data-base" of books. Such as a personal library. ( I am writting it because I have over 300 Sf & f books, and I don't know what is where anymore ) Also, I have been using the advice of the net occationally, and it is really helpfull. Luckily I haven't needed anything that hasn't been discussed yet.... Just as an asside and a recomindation. I have been using the "Encylopdia Mac Rom" for a reference, and it is a great reference. It has most all Rom routines for the 64k, 128k's and 256k Roms. This is a little easier (it is all in one book) than wading through 4 (possible 5) IM vol's. It gives the Pascal calling sequence, the C calling sequence, and the assembly calling sequence. Note - I have no connection with the book other than someone who owns it. (this is just to keep some people happy...) Thanks for whatever help you can give... Mike -- Mike Houle | | "I have this pain down all the diodes ! UUCP -> decvax!linus!mdh | on my left side..." !
