Imagine my surprise to discover the manual doesn't document most of them. No mention is made of HOW the Object Pascal extensions work - just syntax diagrams and reference to a book on Object Pascal - in spite of the fact that the rest of the language *is* covered in the Language Reference section. Even worse, the UNIV data type is mentioned twice and never explained at all - not even an index entry! I found an old copy of Structured Language World with enough Object Pascal info to at least declare a class, but could someone tell me what the hell a UNIV is and how I use it???? And when will the revised and corrected manual from Symantec will be out? -- Larry Smith lsmith@apollo1.UUCP or {mit-eddie,yale,uw-beaver}!apollo!lsmith
