Lines: 17 Does anyone out there know of a utility, PD or commercial, which gives the Mac a logical name facility? If not, can anyone provide me with what they consider the steps necessary to create one? I would like this to work with or without the existence of networking software such as TOPS, AppleShare, etc. At first, I considered patching certain operating system traps, but that seems pretty kludgy. I would think that there would be a way to muck with the system device or volume lists (in a safe way), but I'm not sure what's required. Your help will be very much appreciated. Mark -- { Mark R.
