It has a double scan CGA display similar to the Zenith (640x400). I use HP-Windows ( MS-Windows 2.03 ) with it. HP supplies a driver for the LCD. It appears to use the "Hercules" emulation mode to get down to the single pixel resolution. I have used both the CGA and the LCD mode with windows the difference is about 3 to 4. In LCD Mode the text used in a window is much smaller and equivalent to using an EGA without color. Text is displayed in approx. 23 lines in CGA Mode and 33 lines in LCD Mode. I use the LCD mode when using the CS20 as a portable and I use the CGA mode with a Magnavox CGA monitor when using as a desktop computer. I hope this information helps.... ... PjH
