Currently we are running SunLink DNI 6.0 on our Suns (one sun 3/160 servers everyone for DNI...yes it is running SunOS 4.0) a SET HOST or DNILOGIN works fine....but we want to be able to connect to the Sun from a DEC terminal server without talking through the VAX. So what I need is some info on the DEC LAT protocol so I can write a program for the suns. Once I write that our sun will look just like a DEC computer (right down to Mail, Phone, Send, CTerm, FAL and all the other DEC goodies.....Now I just need LAT) The main reason I need to use LAT to our suns is because this university is putting in a lot of DEC terminal servers and currently there are very few connections to the Suns. Also most of the modems may be put on the terminal servers. If you can help me, or you need some other help with SunLink DNI PLEASE SEND ME E-Mail! (BITNET if you can, it's quicker than uucpnet) [[ I'm sorry, but the author did not include a Bitnet address. --wnl ]]
