I think it is safe to say that all the major database and forms package vendors are looking at X implementations. Depending on your time frame, some may be ready when you need them. A more interesting question is the look and feel issue. You would like a form running under DecWindows to look and feel like DecWindows, but would like the package to also support Open Look, Motif, and anything else that may come along until a look and feel standard develops. If anything slows up introduction of X implementations of the popular forms packages, it will be trying to come up with clever solutions to this. eric ...!pyramid!eric
