Subject: Raster Editors ??

We are looking for raster editors (commercial or public domain) for 
binary scanned images to be run under X-Windows, and with good functionality.

By the way, does anybody know the address of a company named
     "American Imaging Inc" (in Texas ?) ?
They are said to have a raster editor, but we don't know their address and
if it already runs under X-Windows.
