We have a SUN4 with a color display.  I got the X server running
all right using the command xinit.  However, I do not seem to get
it to display color images.  It always thinks the depth of the
screen is one when responding to
 DefaultDepth(dpy, DefaultScreen(dpy));

Could someone help?  

Oh, by the way.  We looked in the /dev but do not know which
dev to make to make the server happy.
