The purpose of this directory is to keep track of what's available and to keep all of the information in one place so that one can obtain a copy of the code from the author or poster. I don't have the time or resources to maintain a complete archive, so please don't ask me for something unless you're unable to find a copy elsewhere. In the past I've posted the directory to the unix-emacs mailing list in the form of an unformatted datafile. There exist three formatters that produce human-readable reports, all of which have previously been posted to unix-emacs. They are: 1) format -- a mostly-awk UNIX shell script by David Sill 2) format-lisp-code-directory -- an Emacs Lisp function by Ashwin Ram 3) a perl script by Randal Schwartz If you want one of these, drop me a line. If I get enough requests I'll post. I was unable to run the perl script so I can't say how well it works. Between the other two I prefer Ashwin's format to mine. My next posting will be the datafile itself. Contributors: keep up the good work! ========= "No, I'm not interested in developing a powerful brain.
