GNU Emacs: version 18.52, running on HP9000/320 with HP-UX 6.2.

Bug category: minor.

Command sequence:

   1.	....
   2.   replace-string ... ...
   3.   undo

If the 2nd command did not replace anything, 'undo' undoes the
1st command instead.
Because it is not always possible to see if a M-x replace-string command
actually did replace something, this behaviour is misleading.
