The following program causes cc1 to abort. Config'd with sun3-os4.

extern int i;
static void write_runs()
{
	 if (127  - i < (1))
	     write_runs();
	
}

Compile with gcc -O 

I'd really, really appreciate a fix for this. The abort is in final.c, a bit 
I don't understand as yet.
