I've been trying to get news 3.0 running on a 3b2/300 running SVR3.1
and have run into a few problems.  The main problem I have is that
the file src/D.read/response_codes.h is missing.  Can someone send
me this file?  I've also noticed a number of mistakes in the makefiles
which caused the nntp library not to be made.
