I am doing research on applying AI in mechanical engineering
but I have so far only worked in the non-neural area of AI.
However, I happened to read a few articles on PDP and now
I am interested, but I have a few questions.

Does anyone know of any applications in mechanical engineering
using neural nets?
Have neural nets been used for other "heavy" planning problems?
Are there any books on how to implement neural nets?
