The UNIX source > has been posted to usenet at least 3 times. The latest version that > was posted is a port of ARC 5.21 with PKARC extensions (i.e. > squashing), and it compiles on both System V and Berkeley. I got the source for ARC 5.21 for my System V Release 2 system. It wouldn't compile - after a bit of hacking I gave up on it. More often than not, the ARC's I get from the net don't work with the version of ARC.EXE I have for MSDOS - that's a pain. Maybe I have an older ARC.EXE - who knows? ZOO, on the other hand, WORKS GREAT on my System V. And, I didn't have to do any major back flips to get it working. > What MORE do you want?
