I don't use binaries posted in an unmoderated group; I don't have time to check them out. Unmoderated posting will eventually lead to a virus or copyrighted program showing up. Then many sites will stop carrying them. There isn't anything I need so badly that I am willing to risk having binaries put off the net. Let's not risk our source of software.
