I have been taken to task for my lack of sensitivity by those who didn't notice that I was responding to my own article - specifically, my lack of research before posting some "help". I was practicing writing in a new (for me :-) literary genre: the flame. I had hoped that by including the full attribution line with my own name and login, and by my parenthetical comment, folks would get the clue. Some nice folks, who have nonetheless been remarkably civil in their private mail to me, didn't notice. Believe me, I reserve actual use of such heat only for only the choicest of targets. So far, I've found only one so deserving: myself. Everyone OK? Now, enough discussion about discussion about Emacs...
