This would make all this this customization a lot easier. I have seen hacks in which (honestly) ESC [ 70 ; 1 j (or something like that) was explicitly coded into a key table (for home-down), and that's definitely bogus. I post, because this probably exists somewhere, and it would be much appreciated if it could be contributed.
