My legs seemed longer, the ground seemed farther away, and my head seemed to be higher off of the ground. I later attributed this to distortions of my peripheral vision caused by the glasses, which my brain would eventually get used to. When I took the glasses off, it would appear distorted to my brain again (i.e., I felt taller). The effect usually "wore off" after a couple of hours (or until I put my glasses on again).
