I'm looking for a (public domain hopefully) program that graphs and
plots data points, draws lines, labels data points, labels axes, etc. 

In other words, I'd like a better version of graph(1) and plot(1) for
postscript.  I have graph(1) and plot(1) and Adobe's 4014-->postscript
translator and this works O.K.  But face it, graph(1) and plot(1) suck
when it comes to flexibility...
