I'm currently having problems with headers on incoming mail, and while I don't think it's really an Elm problem, I'm hoping some of you experts can help. The system comes with sendmail and smail/rmail as the delivery agents. The problem is that an extra local header seems to be prepended to all incoming mail. As a result, the "From" and "Subject" fields in Elm are getting confused. Can anyone tell me what's happening, and how I can fix it? Extra points awarded for a cogent explanation of sendmail/rmail interaction. An example header follows. Any help will be MUCH appreciated. (Please note the blank line between "Status:" and ">From"... This is what seems to be confusing Elm.) --------------------------------- Sample Header --------------------- From uucp Thu Mar 2 13:03 EST 1989 Date: Thu, 2 Mar 89 13:03:54 EST From: blc (Brad L.
