He is here only until Saturday, so I am asking for immediate opinions and advice. Please don't reply to this request after March 10th. Question 1: what micro, program, micro/program combination is (are) the best for a serious composer/musician? (I have the feeling that something like a Mac II is beyond his price range. He's looking at an Atari ST right now.) Question 2: Estonian electricity is of the 220 volt, 50 Hz flavour. I would guess that a micro would be fairly demanding in terms of correct voltage and Hertz-age (i know that's not a word). How could he solve this problem? If someone could answer "just go to store X and buy gizmo Y", that would be great. I've posted this with ont distribution to get more opinions, but any store recommendations should be for Toronto stores.
