It's called "STEVIE", and it is acceptable only The editor posted on Feb. 19 does not appear to be Stevie because it's written by a different person (Paul Vojta, ver. 1.9a) while Stevie is by Tony Andrews (ver. 3.45). I've used both and think Stevie is closer to the real vi. Stevie is larger and slightly slower. Stevie may also be used with Unix-like operating systems such as Minix so the source code may not get posted to the ibm.pc newsgroup. It was posted to comp.os.minix on 8 Dec. '88 but needs Microsoft C to compile.
