(a) are you perhaps confusing text editors with word processors?
(b) why don't you use emacs, or brief, or whatever without trying to
    shove your ideas down our throats.
(c) nice to know vi and troff are obsolete. We run a number of machines
    which do nothing else. People make money selling vi and [nt]roff for
    MS-DOS. Could it be people *like* these tools?
(d) you don't usually post as though God gave you special insight into
    the problems of the world, what in hell got into you this time?
