About that checksum prog. offering; it's for Unix Message-ID: <19596@prls.UUCP> Date: 2 Mar 89 16:54:09 GMT Reply-To: gordon@prls.UUCP (Gordon Vickers) Distribution: usa Organization: Philips Research Labs, Sunnyvale, California Lines: 18 ah,.....err.....whould you believe I posted the offering without realizing that this is a CPM group ? The checksum program (for Intel Hex format records) that I offerred was developed and runs on Unix. How usefull it is to CPM user's, I don't know. Sorry for the inconvienance. I monitor this group not becouse I use CPM but becouse I have some Altos 8000's that I'd like to sell and thought I'd eventually get an idea of their value. (BTW; $150 gets the cpu cabinet that has 2 eight inch drives and a second cabinet that contains the hard disk. I don't know what kind of software is on the hard disk and I haven't any manuals (which is why I don't use these machines). I also have a PDP-11/34 that runs RSX11-PLUS for those of you who want a multi-user/multi-tasking system.
