A new distribution of Minix atariST gcc and associated
libraries and tools are available for anonymous FTP from dsrgsun.ces.cwru.edu
[129.22.16.2], directory ~ftp/pub/minix/gcc-1.34* (cd to pub/minix).

Features:
	- update compiler to gcc V1.34
	- update assembler to gas V1.31
	- update gcc-ar, gcc-ld
	- a true 16/32 bit integer native compiler / unix hosted cross-compiler
	  (no more funky looking stacks/frames when using -mshort)
	- compiles the minix kernel. results in a significantly
	  smaller and faster kernel.
	- kernel features all of howard johnson patches/drivers, eric smiths
	  screen/mouse drivers, simon pooles kbd enhancements,
	  howard chus 9/10 spt floppy patches, bruce szablaks ptrace/mdb,
	  floppy formatter. All / any combination of these features
	  are selectable (compile time configurable).[not all tested though!].
	- "ansi-ized" library. library updated to minixpc V1.4 level
	  and *much* more. i will post the library diffs after the official
	  minixST  v1.2 diffs are posted, to this newgroup.
	- many new library functions.
	- ansi style prototypes etc in headers.
	- all library/header "ansi-ization" is #ifdef'ed so the library can
	  be compiled with ACK CC.
	- "ansi-ized" kernel source.
	- much improved full bsd compatible curses library. it works now!
	- new in this release - a curses based widget library.
	- cleaned up portable dir library.
	- improved floating point support functions in libraries.
	- slightly improved version of portable math library.
	- patch, gnu-grep, gnu-diff, arc and improved sh in distribution.
	- binaries/lib objects included in distribution for your convenience.
