I tried to hook a terminal up to the serial port and run it through the AUX device. I know the terminal works because I can use it with a HAYES modem with no problems. (Also the cables are good.) I can also use the modem with the AMIGA through the serial port. I make sure the AUX is mounted, then type, "newcli AUX:" as it says in the 1.3 manual. I make sure the baud rates and such is set right. But nothing happens with the terminal. No commands entered, no echo, Zip! I believe another problem is related -- I also get no luck hooking up a serial interfaced (RS-232) PaintJet to the serial port. I make the PaintJet pick in preferences and select the "serial" gadget. I have both the AMIGA and the paintjet set for XON/XOFF handshaking. (I tried No handshake too) So I figured I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for any help, Dave S.
