It uses some of the routines in the Cat's firmware ROM for dialing, so you need to have that installed. Since I only have an unenhanced IIe, I can't guarantee it works on anything else, but you don't know 'till you've tried :-) The driver supports interrupts for received characters, dialing, carrier detect, and xmit/receive buffering.
