These include pop-up calculators, spelling checkers and notepads. Another powerful and profit- able AppleWorks add-on is a macro package that allows for pre-programmed sequences to be executed along with some neat 'if-then-else' logic and 'peek- ing', 'poking' and 'calling'. I had heard that they were trying to create a similar type of software for AppleWorks GS, but they found it too slow and buggy for it to be worthwhile. But I wouldn't hold my breath for new software similar to what they used to write. They're busy writing accounting and telecommunication packages for AppleWorks, I believe.
