I suggest that you try the Chameleon program (it is files 87-00030 and 87-00031 on the APPLE2-L list server at the BITNET node BROWNVM). I have never tried it with DATA files, but I have used it for TEXT files. Moreover, the price is sure right. When I had a bunch of Apple Pascal (UCSD) DATA files to transfer over to DOS 3.3 (or ProDOS), I wrote a Pascal program to read the files and write them out as TEXT files. I then used the System Utilities program on one of the old system disks to convert the TEXT file to the DOS of my choice. ------------------------------------------------------------------- J.
