     I've just received a mailing from Data Pacific, which lists as one of
its products "Messenger Plus," which seems to be a software application
which performs the data transfer capabilities of the Translator One outside
the Mac emulation.  Sort of like a Discovery Cartridge in software.

     One question:  Should I buy it, given that I can never afford
the Translator One or the Spectre GCR?
