I use Dr T's Copyist and within its limitation of page size find it very
satisfactory. It successfully handles problems such as polyrhythms,
transposing instruments, movable clefs that other editors ignore and has
provision for user-defined symbols to fill in the gaps they forgot about
(like string articulation symbols). The finished results are quite
indistinguishable from professionally printed music. It isn't really
suitable for orchestral music because of the small page size, but for
piano, organ and chamber music, as well as songs, it is perfect.
