Well, you should always have all your equipment off when plugging or unplugging any sort of computer equipment.....just in case.....The monitor master box was intened to save the life-span of the monitor plug and the cords.... I have the monitor master at home and always leave the monitor off when not in use or switching with the M/M box. If you have the color monitor too close to the mono, you will notice some disruption of the mono screen when the color monitor is on. This is due to both monitors producing a *VERY* strong magnetic source when powered up and the 60Hz color monitor is affecting the 70Hz mono. Dan/Atari Corp. "These postings are not Atari's opinions.
