A suggestion regarding monthly postings such as <3649@datapg.MN.ORG>:
set an appropriate expiration period, say a month.  That way, new
subscribers are guaranteed to see the article, and all readers can
retrieve it if they need to, regardless of the local expiration
period.

I suggest that comments about this suggestion be mailed directly to
the original poster; he may then make his own decision.
