They have until now been doing their word processing using a product called WORD-11 version 4.2, on a VAX 11/730 running VMS 5.0. They are in the process of phasing out their VAX & are doing all their work on PC's. They wish to write future documents in WordPerfect, under PC-DOS. Their current documents may be needed in the future. However, they wish to convert documents from WORD-11 to WordPerfect only as necessary, as they have quite a large store of written documents, some of which will be needed in the future, others which are there just for archive purposes. Their proposed plan is to download *all* their documents (perhaps a few tapes full) onto cartridges that can be accessed by their PC's. The downloading will be done using Kermit, which exists on their VAX & on their PC's. Then, as necessary, run a conversion program against the needed document, which will convert from WORD-11 format to WordPerfect format. They are looking for some reasonably priced product on the market that will perform such a conversion. Any pointers to available software &/or company that sells such a product would be most appreciated.
