This note is to clarify the "bundling" of X11 with the next release of HP9000 HP-UX. The next release is numbered HP-UX 6.5 for the Series 300 and HP-UX 3.1 for the Series 800. X11 will be available for these machines as follows. Series 300 """""""""" X11 servers, clients and License-to-Use are shipped as part of the HP-UX AXE product. X11 programming libraries will be shipped as part of the HP-UX PE product. Both of these are installed (if you desire) as part of the HP-UX installation process. Series 800 """""""""" All SuperWorkstation bundles will continue to contain the entire X11 product. X11 products B1155A..B1160A will continue to be provided for users of Series 800 multi-user systems such as, HP825s, HP835s, HP840s, HP850s and HP855s.
